In a nutshell this is a rip off. I saw the TV ad and like an idiot I ordered the website package for $35.00 on their website. On Oct.14th 2005 I received a call from a Thomas Jones from The Greatest Vitamin in the World (1-888 340-0547), he went on to offer some great money making programs at additional costs. I was told about a large number of guaranteed hits from various search engines and how my website would bring in orders. He adjusted the price to only $300.00 on my Visa card. They would deduct the balance from my checks. He activated my website and gave me my ID and password.

I checked out the website and figured out how the controls worked and made some personal touches. It did look good and at that time it seemed like this could work. I then received an envelope from guaranteedtraffic.com with information to register my website with their service and I did. At this point I was almost a week into this and then received the original package from The Greatest Vitamin in the World. On Oct.20th I received a call from a guy named Nick (1-888 432-5706) from The Greatest Vitamin in the World, he began to offer more great programs to bring in orders and promote my website.

He offered a premium package for about $1200.00. He advised he could clear what I already owed and just charge my Visa card. Well I told him No thank you. He told me he would hold the offer until tomorrow. I have had one vitamin order out of over 80 hits on my website and about 10 or more of those were from me.

I started checking out this company after having second thoughts. I found disturbing information on not only the rip off report but other websites as well. Last night my website wouldn't even come up, the server could not find the site and it was in my favorites file, I tried for about an hour on and off. Then I remembered the 30 day money back guarantee I saw on the TV ad. I used the information I found on the Rip Off Report I sent the package back today and contacted the credit card company and then my wife (she was pi**ed off at me for ordering this rip off program) and I contacted The Greatest Vitamin in the World. We did get a bit of a run-around and were told someone will call us back within 24 business hours.

I will be keeping the credit card company aware of the progress of this refund and file a dispute on these charges if they are not cleared. The credit card company can change our account number to aviod any additional charges since they still have authorization, we may do that. My wife wants to contact the authorities in Az. to report this scam. I know I should of known better than to get myself in this mess, but if this report stops anyone else from falling into this trap I'll feel good about that.

The Greatest Vitamin in the World! Az. Rip Off!

Well after more than a month of dealing with this company I have only been able to have them credit my credit card the cost of the basic package $35.00 plus shipping. I have disputed the additional charges with my credit card company for $300.00 Guaranteed Traffic and the $9.95 a month Vision One. The credit card company (Visa) has been working with me to resolve these charges. The Greatest Vitamin in the World's managers are advising me that the credit for the entire amount may take as long as 30 days although the $35.00 credit was done within a few days of returning the basic package. I will not give up calling them until I get my money back. I have two extention numbers for managers that might be helpful to anyone trying to get their money back, 1-800 544-8482 (Customer Service) X-113 (Shane) or X-114 (Brian).

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, November 01, 2005

I actually spoke to this guy about two years ago when i got ripped off by all there money makin packages. after a long battle and hours on the phone I was able to get Don lapres direct cell number. I told his reps I want to speak with Don directly and what i was going to do if i did not get his direct line. I proposed our friend Don my little idea, a new forum .. a new forum i was to start so people could come up with their evidence and discuss statagies to leagaly place this man behind bars. I was promtly refunded the amount i requested and it was clear Don himself did not like this plan. I urge anyone to buy that domain and use it as i can see he did not learn his lesson and is still at it.. There are better honest free ways to make money ((redacted))Hope this helps anyone get a refund to..
