I contracted with Allan on Aug 9, 2013 to clean the my Bathroom Shower and floor. Allan came to my home was very professional. Said that we can make your bathroom look like new. Showed be the brochure of the before and after. Looked good. The one time that I didn't check the web for reference on him, was big mistake.  I should have known that after I agreed to have him do the work, Allan said to me "Thank-you for letting me put food on my table" that something was not right.

The work was done, Looked a little better not much, the technichian said that when everything drys will look better. Not the case-They used the wrong color silicon, they didn't clean it as well as they said they would.

I complained to The Grout Medic - they send a anpther technichian back to fix the problem. He told me there wsa nothing to be done because the dirt was embedded in the tile and grout. He put on the new caulking that was close to the orginal BUT put the new silicon on top of the old silicon.  Now looked worse.

When I complained again the response from The Grout Medic wsa that if you read the contract you would see that embedded dirt is not covered, therefore The Grout Medic is not responsibile.

Allan Peters came back again. Explained to me again because of the embedded dirt there was nothing more that could be done. I would thing that a man of his experience would have known better and not taken the job on. But he did. Now back to the Silicon. Allan pulled out a color chart of teh different types of silicons available. Was I suprised when I saw the right color. When I asked why didn't they use that in the first place, he didn't know.

He told me to go BUY teh silicon and he would install at no charge. His mistake and I have to buy the right silicon. Absurd.

I asked that he refund me 50% of the cost of the job. No, he will not do that. I contacted corporate, as nice as they were, they can't force a franchisee to do anything.

I would stay as far away from the Grout Medic. They are not ethical or professional!

We had tried and tried to make this customer happy, and with any business there will always be someone unsatsified. This customer did get his 50% refund, so in the end both our customer and The Grout Medic were happy with the outcome. Thank you, Noelle at The Grout Medic
