Complaint Review: The Guest List

I first received information from this company when I filled out a paid survey online. I was prompted to register to receive 2 airline tickets if I would just send them a $20 check to their address in Garden City, New York. Being a skeptic, I sent it return receipt requested so I would have the signature of the person who signed for it. The signature was not legible.

This occurred in October of 2004. I have sent SEVERAL emails. No one has responded. If this company has nothing to hide, then why when I call directory assistance to find their phone number in Garden City, there isn't one?

It isn't like the reponse that the so called employee of the company gave a few rebuttals up ~ I have waited well over my 8 weeks (It is now May of 2005). I gave them a check in US funds that they quickly cashed. I have sent several emails with no response. I can't call anyone because there is not a listing for this company that supposedly has nothing to hide. I would like to hear from one of the 200,000 people that have received a voucher. I guess they take the $20 that they receive from the thousands of people that they rip-off and pick a few hundred to send a voucher to so that they can use them as their examples of their "winners."

I would be very careful about having any dealings with this company or any of its aliases. It wouldn't be on this website if it didn't walk like a duck, talk like a duck ~ you know the rest!
