Complaint Review: The Hartford Auto Ins.

I had Ins.with The Hartford And have been dropt out because I was late with a payment . When I relized that I was late I called them that I had to make a payment to reopen the policy the amount was about $68.00 so I paid by phone but I was willing to pay the hole
amount but she said that it was not nessery ( Well I tell you im going on in age and somtimes I forget and they are dealing with a aging population) So i called them and they said that the policy was never reopend even after I paid the $68.00 . But here is somthing that
I could not beleve I have ben with them for about 13 years and have A+ rating with no accidents no violation. Plus I have my home ins. with them. So now I have to get ins. somwhere else and being that now I dont have Ins. the Ins. companies wont Ins. me without a rate hike.
So im now driving without Ins. because I cannot afford to pay the hike.I'm asking if AARP can help me with this. Thanks
