I have been on disabilty since January 2010.  The company that is paying me for short-term disability through my employer is The Hartford.  I was receiving disability until April 26, 2010.  The company terminated my case on April 27, 2010, yet I am still on disability.  I suffer from Rhuematoid Arthritis, Sjorgren's Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Fibromuscular Dysplasia, Achilles Tendonitis on both feet, I have had three TIA's mini-strokes, Bipolar II and Anxiety Disorder.  The recent strokes were July 2009 and March 2020, yet The Hartford says I no longer meet the criteria to be on disability.

I have appealed the case and yet they are taking their time.  I had to get all the records from my five different doctors, fax all the paperwork and they did not offer me a record release until after they had me fax of 100+pages.  At this point my anxiety and stress is over the top because I'm on disability but not receiving any money. The nurses at The Hartford is bypassing the doctors recommendations by saying I'm no longer considered disabled.  On July 9th I am being admitted to the hospital so the doctors could put stents in my caratoid artery to help with blood flow to my brain (caused by fibromuscular dysplasia) to avoid having another stroke or anurysm.  The Hartford has had my appeal paperwork since April and yet they haven't decided.  I am looking for an attorney who can build a case and if the case is won they get a certain percentage.
