I received a renewal subscription to House Beautiful with the information that my next magazine would arrive in Oct. I cancelled my subscription on Sept. 22, 2008 and asked to Not receive the October issue as I wasn't interested in renewing. I received a letter today (10-15-08) from the credit/collections manager stating that they have not received payment for my subscription nor have they received any indication of the reason for non-payment. That is untrue. And if they receive prompt payment my account will be in good standing and they will not terminate my account. Well, terminate my account because it is already cancelled. I feel like I am being harrassed by this company.
