Complaint Review: The Heights Apartments

ripoff HIGH RENT..APARTMENTS THAT ARE DUMPS... screwed others too Washington District of Columbia ....

I've been living at the Height Apartment complex since March of last year..AND I can't wait unil my least runs out! When I first move in here I was so happy, the apartment are close to the metro and on first inpection, are okay.

I pay $1150 in rent for a two bedroom this does not include any utilities. The staff and maintence people are terrible. They don't care about the residents and they don't have any type of oragnization. Not only are they full with attitudes they are never make any attempts to handle problems.

A resident got her house broken into by the maintenace staff(who by the way are still working here).The so called security guard sits in there never moving.. I have no ideal who the manager is, they alway say her name but you are not allowed to meet her. AND THE MICE, which are everywhere.

The solution is to keep coming and giving the tenant traps. The so called security doors are always broken. People don't stay too long I'm sure a few have broken their lease. The funny thing, after researching the Horning Brothers(the owners) I realized they also own The Cloisters Apts. If you look up the these two apartments, on aptatings.com, you find they both have numerous complaints.
