Complaint Review: The HelpCard

 This company has been in business according the customer service dept. Could not access their website, kept getting error messages Contacted the 877 number and pushed web site issues prompt (3) on phone but no tech person available. Told call back Monday and maybe someone would be available. Asked to speak to supervise, told no one was available. Only 1 was there, so was put on hold for over 30mins. no one ever answers but got disconnected. Called back 4 times. The 4th called I asked for the email address to make a complaint about how I was treated and their lack of updated technology, had been told previously on another call the been in business since 1990. I was told the company had no email address that could be replied to. Was given an P.O. Box 802 with no name just HCC Processing. Asked who's attention to address this, was told to go onto internet because they aren't allowed to give even last names or specific depths out. I don't understand a credit card company which is open 24/7 for payments and charges to their card doesn't have staff available to the customer to answer questions if they are having trouble with their website. I have read other complaints about their balance not going down and since 9/16 when my account was opened it has done nothing but go up. Their interest rate us outrageous but I knew that going in. What I didn't know is that interest is paid first before anything is made on the principal, even if part of your balance is under a 6 month promo. I should have never and will never do business with company again. But live and learn. Doesn't mean that their customer service should not be more responsive to the customer. Especially since they charge such an outrageous interest rate.
