AUGUST - SEPTEMBER 2009
Utilizing the varioius networking websites to find contacts and potential employers, I came across an introduction to The Hiring Coach in one of my group associations. They touted resume rewrite services being fast, easy, affordable and conducted by recruiters!!

I thought the concept of getting a recruiter's perspective was brilliant and generous, so I quickly followed their "simple" instructions...

Within 24 hours, my PayPal account had been hit for $15 and days went by with no rewritten resume in my Inbox (48 hour promise). Four days later, I sent another email and got their auto-reply, but three days after somebody replied stating:

"Good Day, Thank you for alerting us to this situation. Your payment has not been properly recorded. On our end, it is still showing as an outstanding invoice.

By any chance, did you pay using a different email address or do you still you still have your email receipt from PayPal? If you do, please send us either a screen shot or the receipt number. If you no longer have the email, not a problem we take you at your word and will process your resume immediately. You can expect it by Tuesday.

The Hiring Coach values its reputation and integrity and most certainly do not want any of our customers to have the negative experience you have had. Thank you, The Hiring Coach Team"

Of course, I promptly pasted my PayPal receipt... One week later, I inquired again stating I would be pursuing open communications about my bad experience, as well as contacting PayPal, etc. I haven't heard anything since... SO STAY AWAY FROM THE HIRING COACH!

As another victim states, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I have got to not be so trusting when it appears companies want to help those suffering dire straits. Our world is a greedy one... GOOD LUCK!
