The Home Store - homestore3.com May Be A Fraudulent Site Leander Texas
We ordered a Hannah Montana In-Concert Stage with Bonus Doll for our daughter from this site. A couple of days after we placed our order, we attempted to contact them via their phone number and live chat regarding the status of our order. We continued with numerous phone calls and live chat correspondence for several weeks (by the way, the live chat is never live, you must leave a written message) with absolutely no return calls or emails from the site. Upon calling the phone number, we either had to leave messages, as a live person never answered, or we received a "Mailbox full and can no longer accept messages", or something to that effect.
This site appears to be a Yahoo! site on some of the searches, so I contacted Yahoo! and they do not show this site as a Yahoo! site. I also contacted the Chamber of Commerce in Leander Texas, and they have never heard of this store, and also noted, there is no such store located at the physical address the site lists as their address. The 212 area code, when searched, is a New York area code. I would encourage any Consumer Group to research this site and either verify or deny the site as fraudulent. It has been over 30 days now, and no response from The Home Store. I would advise everyone to buy from a different site, as we have had our credit card company reverse charges due to non-delivery of items charged for. This has been a huge hassle on our part, and our daughter has never received her item. We even requested and paid for Priority Mail delivery!
