Just received my letter today 3-24-04. The same as everyone else. It's amazing that I just had two credit reports done, to see who inquires about me. I had no late charges and have been a on time customer since 1994.
This might as well been someone standing in front of me saying stand there and take your punch, "Where do you want it the head, or the stomach?" I just paid 200 on my bill and only owe 300 how much lower can you go
I guess it's because I don't use it enough. They need to make money.

I have a good standing on my report of equifax. I unfortunately will not be using it ever again.
Also they were at one time sending me forms for applying for Insurance and started charging me twice for insurance @ month.

I am offended at this letter. I could understand it if I were just a horable customer. I was in good standing since 1994.

I can not even get on there online services. This is a disgrace.

Penney/Monogram Credit inquired about my credit on 11/2003-7/2003-5/2003 They stated equifax gave them the report but that equifax could not provide me with information as to their actions.

JC Penney Card & Monogram Credit Card Bank

#2Consumer Comment

Fri, August 27, 2004

I also had a JC Penney credit card issued by Monogram Credit Card bank of Georgia and they pulled the same stuff on me. I had a $500.00 credit limit and used the card twice for a total of $154.00 before they wrote me a nasty letter telling me that they were lowering my credit limit to $300.00.

I received another letter two days later from Monogram stating that they were lowering my credit lower yet - to my current balance at the time which was $88.00. This was so ridiculous as I had to drive 80 miles to shop at Penneys to begin with and apparently I didn't use the card enough to suit them so my solution was to pay it off and cancel the card. They wrote me asking me to keep the account open and my reply was, "Sorry Charlie..."

I had never been late with a payment and had always paid more than the minumum but I guess the goodwill of customers is not what matters to Monogram Credit Card Bank of Georgia. I had three other store cards that were issued by MCCBG and I paid every one of them off and cancelled them.

If I ever apply for a credit card again, it is a sure thing that if the card is issued by MCCBG, I will recind my application.
