On Wed, Sept 29th, I signed a contract for services which required a $1000 cash/check deposit.  The contract stated that I had 7 business days (he'd scratched out the typical 3 days) to cancel.  In the next 2 days, I'd found another company that had several more options and better price.  I called Kitchen Connection and left a message on Saturday that I was canceling the contract.

Unfortunately, they cashed the check on Friday and it was through the system. 

No one from the company called me on Monday so I called and spoke with someone and they said my sales rep, M.Rogers, would be contacting me.  Again no calls, so I call again on Thursday to ask about the refund return.  D.Read told me I should receive it by 10/15 and I should call him back if I don't.  He said it takes 10 days.  I waited until 10/20 and called back since I still hadn't seen the refund.  I again called back and left a message (supposedly with the company owner, or so I was told), and no reply.

I reported this to Better Business Bureau on 10/21/09.  D.Reed responded in the BBB case on 10/28 saying he'd "make sure" I receive my deposit.  It's now 11/25/2009, and still no refund.  I'm still battling with them.

I don't know how they enforce payments, but I suspect they would handle their money much quicker.  They show no sense of urgency or care for their potential customers.  BE WARNED; POST-DATE your deposit if you're desperate to think about using this company for any kitchen work.
