Complaint Review: The LipoBan Clinic

I had ordered the LipoBan and CarboBan product (a 90-day supply) over the phone by calling the phone number 800-645-8195. My credit card was charged the amount of $227.70 on October 1, 2004. The products arrived and I tried them for 30 days with no results whatsoever. So on November 8, 2004, I returned the empty and unused bottles via priority mail.

I checked my credit card in December to see if a portion of the money, that is, minus the shipping and handling costs had been refunded and found out that no money whatsoever had been refunded.

I called again today to see if the money was refunded, and found out that nothing had been refunded. So I called the number listed on my credit card (561-995-0889) and found out that the number was disconnected. Next, I called the 800 number listed above and found out that that the 800 number is disconnected as well. So I checked the Internet to find out a listing for The LipoBan Clinic and came across this website, showing that one or more parties may have been defrauded with respect to the LipBan product as well.

Also, I called my credit card and verified that no money was refunded to my account.
