Your not the only one!!! US LOAN RIP OFF
I received one of those "Personal and Confidential", 3" X 8" folded letters in the mail. After removing the stubs, it had my mortgage Companies name and my loan amount displayed on the top. It also offered attractive programs and promises to negotiate our mortgage to reduce our monthly payments by 30%-50%. And rates as low as 4.5%. So I called them. the loan officer Matteo Tetesco call me Matt, answered the phone and gave us a very nice sales pitch. With in a few days we received the packet to fill out. This included all our personal information, the 19 page questioner packet (including the Refund Guarantee). Matt even paid for the "UPS Overnight". When they were ready to negotiate with our lender they asked for $ 2500.00 (Refund Guaranteed )A few weeks went by and he kept telling us it takes time. So we waited and waited. Then all communication just STOPPED. No email, no phone call nothing. I started calling the office-disconnected, Matt's cell-disconnected and now no web site. I got a good sale pitch, trusted and just handing $2500 to a perfect stranger for nothing. WARNING just because someone has a fancy web site, doesn't mean they are a legitimate business.
And sense then I have received four more offers, same format as US Loans. Put those offers in the shedder.
