Hi, I just wanted to write and tell you about my experience with the loan consultants. Last month I was invited down to their Wilshire Blvd. office for a meeting with Kirby Burnett.

When I arrived I thought it was a nice office but definitely not the office of a multi-billion dollar company. I was then greeted by Xavier who is TLC's National Marketing Director. Xavier seemed to be a nice enough person but he had only a rudimentry knowledge of the mortgage industry. Xavier escourted me back to Mr. Burnett's office, along the way i noticed two things. First, they are rather meagerly staffed. Secondly they had alot of sales awards for selling membership posted outside of Burnett's office.

When I enquired about them they just laughed and never really addressed the question. I was then introduced to Kirby Burnett. He is a rather jolly looking fellow, after a few nicities, the interview got underway. Kirby started with a rather banal analogy, something about Cedar-Sinai hospital being a clearing house for cancer knowledge and the Loan Consultants being the clearing house for financial kowledge.

I'm sure all ther finacial institutions just can't wait to speak to Kirby and his small staff, but hey I could be wrong. But at first i really did think this guy was joking, but no, he was dead serious! Kirby then proceeded to ask me about my goals and why I wanted to be a member of TLC, it was as if I was being interviewed for a job, not as though I was puchasing my own business.

Then it dawned on me. This guy is messing with my mind. This is a classic sales pitch of "Hard Sales". he is trying to get me pumped up enough to join NOW! What a con! well, I know this is just my opinion, but a word to the wise, watch out for these guys.
