after having lived here over 6 years, I have asked to be released from my lease so I can move near family in warmer climate, due to my disability and need for assistance. The Mansards pointed out to me that my lease says I must give not just 60 days notice before leaving, but also; 2 additional months rent after I leave!

I never read the lease, I have ADD and can not manage such long amounts of text.

I am on a fixed income as a disabled and senior citizen, and am barely able to get through each month as it is.

The landlord knows I am reliant on housing authority section 8 voucher in order to live anywhere,

and that breaking any of the lease agreements will void my section 8 forever in the future.

Now I am captive here, to endure another harsh winter alone and unable to care for myself.

also; I saw a different complaint about the Mansards saying they unfairly charge for utilities, this is even worse than reported. they actually charge each dwelling according to how many dwellings may be empty in the building, so when my neighbors all move away, my bill climbs extremely higher. A single person in a one room apartment should not have to pay a complete share for the entire building, including the electric and gas used for the laundry room shared by all tenants.

these people are evil.
