The Money Source inc bought my mortgage another company. Then stopped paying my insurance company. I call to make sure they had the insurance companies correct information, even going as far as having both companies on the phone together to fix the issue. They still never paid the insurance company cause me to lose my insurance coverage. When this happened I decided to pay for my own cover with another company. Then the Money Source sent me an letter saying since I don’t have homeowners insurance any longer that I would have to use their insurance. I sent them proof of my homeowners insurance, but they started charging us $400 more a month for they insurance.

When I called to complain they said they would have to do an inquiry that would take up to 60 days to complete. Once the inquiry was complete after 60 days of elevated mortgage payments they said the the inquiry showed that I did have insurance cover and should be paying the higher rate, but the rate wouldn’t chance until February of the next year. This was in October. When I asked why they weren’t changing it immediately and paying use back for what was already paid, they said " that they took money out of my escrow to pay for me to have their insurance and if have to pay that money back to my escrow. PLEASE PLEASE..... If this company buys your mortgage, fight it! They are thieves and will steal from you. I’m ready to pay any amount to see this company brought to justice.
