Our nightmare began a couple of years ago when I was sending in my payments and all of a sudden received the past four payments back to be because they said I was in foreclosure (I did not receive anything about this and my payments were not late.)

I spoke with them about what I could do and the put me on a forbearance agreement which I would have to pay them alot more money in cash by western union. I have continued to make payments and missed the deadline to get one in and had to start the process all over again.

I have paid them over 10,000.00 this year and it has been all interest. Taxes were suppose have been paid also and they were not. I am in the middle of refinancing (which I told them I would do and they told me that they would make it so I could never get a loan from anyone again) I have a credit union that is working with me and they are wonderful. In the meantime they call my house about 20 times a day even though I told them I am going to refinance, they have screamed at me and at my son and told him he was stupid when I reported it they told me that my son must be lieing! I would be very interested in a lawsuit against them.

a new twist to our story

#2Author of original report

Well it is March 26th and a new twist to our story, the taxes were finally paid but they have added a number of charges to our account. Our original loan was for $76,000.00 in 1998. Our payoff now $90,000.00.

I have tried to contact them about this and have gotton nowhere. Our payoff 6 weeks ago was $86,000.00. Our lawyer was checking into the charges and we were coming up with the additional money so that we could close and be done with HomeQ only to find out that the payoff is now up $4,000.00.

I think that they do not want us to close on this because they can't keep collecting all of theie bogus charges. If anyone has a class action lawsuit against them I would be very interested in joining in!
