Complaint Review: THE MORTGAGE COMPANY

This is in regards to the way i was treated by a Connee Christian and her boss, Larry at The Mortgage Company in St. Peters near Page Extension and 94. I declared bankruptcy back in December 0f 2003. I met Connee thru a seminar with her and reps from "Terry Hall" realty. I notified Connie upfront about my bankruptcy during mid-January, 2004. During this time Connee told me it would be no problem for me to get a 103% conventional loan even with my credit scores in the high 400's. But she needed money up front to start the process and then she would guarantee me a loan.

I gave her over $1100 the first two weeks in "required" money that all mortgage companies charge according to Connee. She showed me some houses her self which later i found she was not a real estate agent. She gave me a pre-approval letter stating, I could buy a house at $110,000. I only make $15,000 per year as a bus driver. During the contract, i worked with the listing agent and Connee. I bought a building inspection and termite inspection had a survey done. I did all of this because "Connee" stated i was good to go! After 8 weeks and a total out of my pocket expenses of over $2000 with everything including the $1100 upfront money.

The agent told me i could not get the loan according to Connee because my credit scores were under 500. They were always under 500. I demanded a refund from Connee and her boss Larry on my $1100. They just flat out refused. Larry was very hateful and racists when it came to me asking me why i even thought i could afford a house of this size on my limited income. I told Larry it was his employee "lender" that told me i could. Larry walked away and went into his office. Connee left numerous messages and threats with me as well as my landlord creating an unbearable situation. Which forced me into a smaller apartment in a worst part of town. Life has been unbearable due to the flat out lies and deceptions brought about by Connee Christian and Larry of The Mortgage Company.

If you are planning to use them for a loan. Just give a thousand dollars to your favorite charity because they will not get you the loan and you be much more content and happy. I will be writing the fraud division for Missouri the Mortgage Company should not be in business. They are only in business to STEAL your money!!
