Complaint Review: The MRA Group

the MRA Group of Californa. They continusuously called us until the received their money from us. We were leery about allowing them access to our checking account. They promoised to take the first $400 payment and then wait and split the next $800 payment into two paydays. Instead, they took the $800 all at once several days before they were supposed to causing them to receive $1200 of our money and $300 in over draft fees. We have tried daily-numerous times a day to contact them to no avail. We can't get a human on the phone at all. We have left messages. They took our money and ran.  Cerritos, California California

We have had numerous issues since Chase bought our loan.  During a deployment they refused to work with us at all.  At one point, they demanded $12000 to fix our excrow shortage.  We gave it to them but had no idea what they were talking about and they did not give a suitable explanation.

Then, we got a letter saying our payment was going from $1000 a month to $1800   a month with no explanation.

We cannot afford $1800 a month.  We really will struggle to fo $1000 since my husband's job change and I became disabled.

We contacted NACA when they were in town and filled out tons of paperwork for them so that they could begin dealing with Chase.  They eventually, months later came up with an amount that was even more than the amount.  They decided we needed to do it again.  Then NACA dropped out and I began having daily converstations with Chase employees whe were to be helping me modify my loan so I could begin making payments again and everything would be fine.  All the while they were working on this with me on a daily basis, they did not tell me that they were working on selling my house.  When I saw it advertised in a local paper, I immediately contacted an attorney.

I got the sale stopped by filing bankruptcy.  That was to give me a chance to work to get my loan modified so that my family and I could live there and pass the house payment and have no more mortgage company drama.  The VA recommended The MRA Group out of California.  The idea was that they advertise that they:  Protect your American Dream.  They are able to keep families in their homes through successful negotitation of successful loan reinstatement that the consumer can adfford.

I can go on and on about what they say.  They said alot until they got our money.  They took the first $400.  They were told they could not take the nect $800 all together and that it had to be dvivded up.  They were also advised that payday does not hit the account until th 3rd so it had to be after that.  They took the entire $800 out in one lump sum, earlier than agreed upon, causing our account to be over drawned and fees to be charged to the tune of $300.  That was WRONG!  They owe us every penny.  That was my disability money for my kids they took.  DO they want the feds coming after them also?  They owe us at least $1800.

Once I receive the $1800  I will not have any further doings with this group unless I lose my house because of the wasted time and resources.  In that case, we will be hiring a lawyer.  Pay up or I will spend my days signing like a bird about what a complete ripp off your company is.  We have kids and that is disability money you STOLE!
