BUYER BEWARE IN BEDFORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE


We contracted with The Narrow Gate Flooring Company in Bedford, NH to have hardwood floors installed in our home.  We decided to hire Michael Morgan because he is our neighbor and we wanted to give the business to a local tradesman.


We agreed on a start date and gave Michael a check for $3200.00 to purchase materials.  He dropped the materials off, leaving them in the middle of our family room, but never came back.


We called, but he ignored our calls.  We have asked for a receipt for the materials whereas we purchased them for us.  We want to be assured that the materials actually cost the full $3200.00, because he never performed any labor.  He refuses and therefore we do not even have any proof of the purchase date for warranty purposes.  The wood remains stacked up in our family room.
