I was represented by the nations law firm. After years of waiting, I received a letter stating that BP told them I did not have a fishing license. After the BP oil spill, I was forced to change my lifestyle from fishing you driving a truck over the road. The letter I received stated that I had 4 to 5 weeks to respond. Driving a truck over the road and trying to get to the LDWF in Baton Rouge which is two hours away from my house is kind of a difficult task. I was a week late getting them proof that I had a fishing license. But in my opinion they were making a lot of money off of my case. I think that was their feet to do some of the leg work like get a copy of my license from The Department of wildlife and fisheries. When I finally made it there, it took me about 15 minutes to get a list for prior current and past years of my life history. It is my belief, that the nations law firm was only in it for the easy money. They did not do any work or make any effort to make sure that their clients were taken care of It seems to me that I will not be the only one is the situation. I was forced to appeal to BP myself and try and get everything accomplished myself. I think if it is possible, we should have a class action suit against the nations law firm for Miss representing so many people. And make them return the money to the people who lost everything
