Complaint Review: The Nouveau Tech Society

I was contacted by this business also. I knew right away this was an obvious scam from the start, but I just wanted to see what they were offering "for free."

I sent the last page back to them, and did receive the 56 page "orientation booklet" in about 2 weeks. With it came an envelope (self addressed) and an order form. I was informed to read the booklet then send them $135.50 + $4.45 (S&h) by Friday 5/13...3 days away. I was told I was getting a 43% discount off of the $240.00 regular price.

I live just outside of Atlantic City and have been there many times and let me tell you, there is no way you're going to walk in and win as easy as they say this book can help you do. There is no way I'm going to pay $140 to "read" my way into being lucky.

One more comment before I close this. I was thinking...if I was going through hard times (which is not too far from the truth) why won't this 1000 page book just "appear" under my desk chair like it "appeared" under a park bench for one of the poeple that told their "story" in the orientation booklet? I guess I'm not that "lucky".
