I paid $1800 for a necklace from these guys only to find out that the special grade of pearl I paid extra for was not what they promissed. I had suspicions when I got the necklace because it didn't shine as much as it should. It was supposed to be a hanadama cultured Akayo pearl necklace priced at a discount.

When I took the necklace to a pearl dealer in the jewelry district he agreed the pearls were just ok but definitely not the grade Pearl Soure claimed. Then he pointed something out about the lab certificate that came with my necklace. The necklace in the picture was different from the necklace they had sent me. I could sort of make out what he was talking about. The color was different. Then he proved it to me. We counted the pearls and there were two more in picture than in my strand.

He told me he had seen this issue with diamonds before and it was a crime to sell a diamond with a certificate for a different diamond. He said I was ripped off.

Ripped off and mad as hell. I didn't learn I was ripped off until it was too late to return the necklace so I am contacting VISA.
