We purchased our second puppy from this retailer because we were so pleased with our first purchase two years ago.  Our second puppy became ill within 24 hours of bringing him to our home in Pennsylvania.  Our family vet was successful in curing the puppy and we paid her $130.00 which included emergency service.  The Pet Company employee was provided with documentation of our expenses and stated that our credit card would be re-imbursed for the full amount of the charges.  This never happened despite several phone calls to them.  They are now out of business at this location as far as we can determine.  Based on other complaints listed here, I can see why.  They also sold us a $99.00 warranty (a warranty is required by the State of New Jersey) but I don't see why we should have to pay a separate fee for it.  This warranty is now useless because they cannot honor it if they are no longer in business.  They appear to have gone out of business less than three months after our purchase.  We do love our dogs immensely but are now worried about future illnesses after reading some of the posts on this site.
