the promise land group hierd us to perform property preservation work october thur december of 2010. work orders were sent to us via e-mail and authorization was given over the phone along wiyh the amounts that each job would pay.
work was completed and and verified with several photos and we billed the promise land group via email and waited for payment. after several phone conversations trying to get paid we then lost all communication. no return calls, no one would answer the phones or emails.
then on january 31,2011 a email from brandon smithwick came and saying that the promise land group had financial and accounting difficulties but that we would be payed everything that we are owed and that he has sent a check of $100 (only a fraction of what is owed). he then said that long story short ,the accounting was really screwed up but they fixed it and gave his word that we would be paid in full.
well no $100 check ever showed up and no answers to email or telephone calls and still no one answer the phone and it is now march 28,2011.

CORRECTED UPDATE

To the person who entered this complaint and anyone else it may concern.

First, I would like to apologize for the issues with The Promise Land Group, LLC. My name is Brandon Smithwick, I was once with the company. The Promise Land Group, LLC was majority owned by Craig Samuel Blake and he retained full control over the company and finances. Craig Samuel Blake now fully owns and controls The Promise Land Group, LLC.

I have since resigned and left the company effective February of 2011 as have many others. If anyone is still having issues with The Promise Land Group, LLC please let me know. If there is anything I can do to help I will. Without going into detail about the entire situation that led up to these events, The Promise Land Group, LLC was placed into a bad financial position due to internal misguidance, of which I had no knowledge of at the time or involvement whatsoever.

Once the internal misguidance was brought to my attention, I immediately demanded an explanation and subsequently left.

Craig Samuel Blake and The Promise Land Group, LLC still owes a close friend of mine who is a recent cancer survivor nearly $11,000. I am currently assisting her in every way that I can to get what is rightfully and legally hers. Please do not let Craig Samuel Blake and The Promise Land Group, LLC get away with not paying you what is rightfully and legally yours. Each of you work very hard for the money you earn and it is simply not right for someone to benefit from your blood, sweat , and tears.

I once again apologize for your difficulty and also for taking this long to respond to this complaint. I would have responded sooner, but I was unaware of its existence.
