We saw Puppy store and decided to stop in and look at the puppies. My daughter fell in love with a puppy and they said it was a breed that has been around for a while, (unfortunately for us, no one has ever heard of it). She said it was a designer dog called a baby hippo, or a bar shar. Well those two names refer only to a sharpei and a Bassett Hound mix. We were told the dog we like has those features and a beagle mixed in. I asked over and over and was told the breed is popular. We bought the dog and then had to deal with Jeff-an arrogant pompous self proclaimed dog expert. He was like the financial officer when you buy a car. Tried to sell us everything but the kitchen sink, then gave us a disortation on training the puppy. He also told us that the guarantee was only good if we used his Vet.

So we went to his Vet and I asked the vet about the training procedures Jeff told us to do. He didn't agree with one thing, and we realised we were sold items we didn't need, or the Vet said don't use that. I guess to be nice the Vet said, He wouldn't do things that way, he said the food we were told to give was much too little. My daughter called Jeff to ask him a question and he yelled at her as if she was his daughter and treated her like an idiot.

Now for the best part. The Vet told us, he never heard of this breed and we realised it was just a cute mutt. The dog had parasites, and a bad cough. We checked on line and he was right. This breed doesn't exist. THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING. There was one bright spot and that was Jenn. She was very helpful and addressed our concerns, although she also insisted this breed has been around a while. No it hasn't. Oh, and the free first vet visit (as they promised) cost me $140.00. One of the Vet techs said they have a habit of not telling people the entire truth, and he has this problem with them often. Again, BUYER BEWARE. Everything they told us was a lie or wrong.
