I ordered a small bottle and large bottle of Adya Clarity at a cost of $78.45 that was charged against my credit card on October 14, 2011.  This product was suppose to remove all chemicals from our drinking water by adding a few drops to each glass.  I used the liquid from the small bottle first.  On October 31, I received an email from Matt Monarch stating that Adya Clarity was recalled due to the chemicals in Adya Clarity and he was removing the product from his shelves.  He also stated that a refunds would be available for anyone who requested a refund.  I immediately emailed him and requested that I get my refund by check or credit my credit card.

I called several times and the answering machine stated if you wanted a refund please leave your name and telephone number.  Finally on November 29, 2011 I received a call from a gentleman telling me that I needed to sign a form and he would either fax or mail the form to me.  I asked him to fax it and gave him my fax number.  I never received the fax and I faxed The Raw Food World a letter asking to please refund my money with my signature.   No answer and no return calls from the calls I kept making.  I faxed them another letter on December 17, 2011 asking to please honor their word and refund my $78.45.  I get emails constantly with Mr. Monarch's newsletter and how he delivered his child and filthy language he uses, but I have never received an answer from them or have I ever received my money.

Please do not order anything from TheRawFoodWorld.  They are a ripoff.

i ordered nearly $1000K worth of the adya per a testimonial that it helped to eliminate candida.  i was told i would be put on the list for a full monetary refund but that due to the number of requests it would take close to a year to see anything.  I waited the year plus a bit, and upon inquiring (received no notice that i was no longer elligible for the refund and that 'tactics' had changed), was told i would not be given a full refund, but that i could request store credit, so i agreed trying to get some sort/any sort of compensation.

after further wait, wrote very nice letter ("I'm sure I got lost in shuffle"...." my illness has left me with almost no resources and i have a dying child, just hoping for some response/help, thank you so much....") and was told they no longer had record of me or my purchases anymore, and that i need to resubmit the receipts and MAYBE i could get store credit. \

shame on me for not having the receipts at my finger tips, but after moving, dealing with major life complications and illness, digging through old file boxes for product receipts at a store i no longer have much faith in has fallen pretty low on my to do list.  i should be using my insomnia to dig, not idly doing quick check on internet, but after a couple years and a 'maybe' response i think i'm going to give up (and again, i don't think it's worth the effort for expensive vegan cookies when i've cut out sugar, etc).

oh.  and i tested positive for heavy metal toxicity.  i'm sure the adya did not cause it, but taking it as a 'detox' surely didn't help my situation.  and per raw food world's description of adya being full of healthy minerals, though not a recommended use, i gave some to my dog who i ended up putting down afterwards for toxicity related illness (again, i can't prove correlation, but of course adya only added to his problems and i am wracked with guilt for putting so much trust in one person/company).  in short, don't be an idiot like me.

I'm totally over Matt and The Raw Food World.

About your disappointment with the recall, I remember being very pleased that they recalled Adya as I was having significant problems bending my knees (it caused cracking and discomfort mostly in one knee) so when Matt came forward and announced his withdrawal of this product it helped me to realize what the problem could be.  After discontinuing it my knees improved over a period of several months.  I have ordered from them about 10 times but they were very prompt and efficient from the first order so I'm sorry that you have never received your money back.  My suggestion to you is to write a nice letter, explain everything, and hope for the best.  My intuition (which is pretty accurate) is that this is a good company with caring folks running it, and maybe your refund got lost in the shuffle.  They told me they had a huge volume of orders to process whenever I wrote them a note asking for updates, which I did periodically.
So, don't give up, give them another chance, and see what happens.
Good luck!

No Refund

I am glad you have not had any problems with The Raw Food World and I wish I had never ordered any products from them.  You have probably ordered quite a lot of products from them and they don't want to lose you so they treat you right.  That was my first time ordering and I was very disappointed when they notified me of a recall.  The email letters I received from Matt Monarch showing how he performed the birth of his child and the language he used was not something you would say to the public.

Evidently you did not get the newsletters I received during that time, and it was the time that I had requested a refund according to their instructions.  If this had not been a recalled product and I had just decided to request a refund, I would have understood how they treated me, but they did the recall, stated a refund would be given and I followed their instructions and then they would never respond to me or refund my money.  Therefore I do not feel this is a company anyone should order from and I am not the only one that has had this problem with The Raw Food World and I still say they are rip off.

Adya refund from Raw Food World

In response to this complaint, I received a full refund from The Raw Food World after returning a substantial amount of Adya Clarity.  It took a few months; I had to fill out a form and return it, and was reassured that because they had a very high volume of refunds it could take longer than usual.  So I waited, and finally the check came in full.  I have had no trouble whatsoever with other orders I have placed with them and find their information helpful.  I've never heard any obscene language from Matt or Angela.  I fully recommend this company and will continue to purchase from them as the need arises.  I even enjoy their Youtube videos.  This is my honest opinion!
