An 84 year old man has received 2 books, unsolicted by him, from the Reader's Digest Association, Inc. ( the real business name is: aNetOrder.com) I had to call the Louisville, KY public library to find out the real name of this company, it's not the Reader's Digest Association, Inc. The phone number of the business: 502-995-2000. I called that number on March 1, 2010 and the answering machine said: a net order. So it's a real place.



The name of the President of A-Net-Order is Shane Randall. I cannot find an email or telephone number for him. He may be living in Scottsdale Arizona. From corporation papers I saw at the Kentucky Secretary of State's webpages, I saw handwritten address as follows:

SCOTTSDALE, AZ  85255



I found no phone number to go with this address.

The 84 year old gent received a letter from the Reader's Digest Association, Inc. with the following information:


Reader's Digest
PO Box 970
Greendale, WI 53129

in the letter was a copy of a FAX with what appears to be a "GIFT REWARD" OF $27.97. This letter does not rescind the original contract. However, as DDaSilva, of the Reader's Digest has put there name and a contact phone number, I must say I am impressed with that and RD is back in my high opinion I have always held of them. Thanks, DDSilva.
