Like many others, I found this site too late. I initially signed up for 3 programs - Amazon, 888 casino and Direct TV at a cost of $149.00 in March of 2006.

Yes, they contacted me several times to "upgrade" but I refused and they finally stopped calling me in May. I spent several hours listing my "company" on the free sites which TRG emailed to me. According to my "contract", I had to remain active for 6 months before requesting a refund and I had to request the refund within 30 days.

So on September 13, 2006, without one visitor to any of my sites, I called and requested my refund. I was told that a "refund manager" would contact me in a few days to confirm it. I gave them my work number but for two weeks I played telephone tag because Roy Smith kept calling my home number and leaving messages.

We finally spoke on October 6 and he said my refund was approved. When I asked him how long it would take (since they took my $ the same day I signed up), he was evasive with an answer but spoke of their "refund process". When I did not receive the refund in a reasonable amount of time, I called EVERY DAY - some days I did not reach anyone and every customer rep told me it was in process. There were instances where I was "disconnected" while on hold and I would continuously call over and over again.

I found this site today, and after reading about others experience, I called at 3:00 pm, told the rep my name, gave her my member number and explained that I had just read reports on this site and not only had I signed up for a class action suit, I was going to file a complaint with PA attorney general as well as Arizona attorney general. The rep informed me that my refund was processed today at 12:35 pm to my debit card. I will verify that with my bank tomorrow (Saturday). If it is, I recommend that everyone here who has NOT obtained a refund try this approach.

Regardless of my outcome, I firmly believe a class action suit or investigation needs to be done to stop these thieves.
