In January of 2006 I was contacted by "Charlie" from "The Results Group" with a program that sounded so great. I did my research on the internet and everything sounded great. I made the purchase of $299 for the purchase of an affiliate of Amazon, Directv, and some Casino web site.

With the purchase I was sent a package the included the "Certificate of Ownership" for the web sites I purchased. Also included was a W-9 for tax purposes. Everything sounded legit.

On August 8th of 2006, I was contacted again about my "business". I was told if I would make a purchase of $1000 I would be paying them to do advertising. I agreed!

I was told that I could access these web sites and I would have my own password. I tried these passwords and had no success. I contacted them in regards to this and was told that all my passwords would be working that night. I have not heard from them since. I had been trying to contact them for months.

I finally started looking into The Results Group more in regards to rip-offs and I found this website. I contacted my credit card company about a refund and they have temporarily refunded my credit card of the $1000. I will further try to get my $299 back also. I will keep this site updated.

Hope this helps someone. I hope the government agencies will make an attempt at a class action lawsuit to get all of us our money back and bury this "FAKE".

The Federal Trade Commission and Arizona Attorney General's office filed actions last week:

http://www.azag.gov/press_releases/dec/2006/TheResultsGroup.pdf

"Attorney General Terry Goddard today announced that his office has filed suit against The Results Group (TRG) and its managers, Edward
Longoria and Amber Halvorson, alleging that their work-at-home business opportunity
scheme violated the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act."

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2006/12/falsehopes.htm

The Results Group Working out of a boiler room in Phoenix, the operation charged between $99 and $599 to build and host Web sites affiliated with the Web sites of Fortune 500 retail companies such as Amazon.com and Overstock.com. Consumers would make money when those retailers paid commissions for sales made through the consumers' Web sites. In fact, the large retailers were unaware of any such affiliation, and consumers made no money. The FTC charged that the operation falsely represented that purchasers would receive substantial income as well as substantial assistance from an expert staff, and used false and misleading statements to encourage consumers to buy the business opportunity.
