In January 2010 we spoke to Michael Mcdermitt with Scovis Law group who said he could help us keep our home. We paid him 2800 in 2 halves ( i have copies of checks) we immediately sent him all our personal banking information.

I was unemployed on unemployement and Eric my fiancee was working, throughout the months I got a job and Mr.Mcdermitt  or his asssiatnts never bothered to call the bank to update my new income. I have proof I work at Bank of America and noticed the bank had my old financials.

We decided to do a shortsale and the bank never approved our offers. Our home was sold on August 28 and we have moved out since and Mr.Mcdermitt has REFUSED to reimburse us. It is against the law to charge consumers upfront fees to do a MOD.

We need to be reimbursed because a MOD wasnt fufilled and services werent provided. When I spoke to Mr. Mcdermitt on a Saturday, he said he spoke to his attorneys and said I was gonna get my reimbursement but I had to sign a waiver.

If I dont a response and my 2800, I will take this to the media and I will sue Mr.Mcdermitt. He is a Theif and makes promises which he doesnt fufill. What is sad is I work for The Modification group with Bank of America and the majority of these attorneys are taking consmers money and never follow thru with their promise.( I have proof to that too).
