I first want to say Ditto to all of you who have written in concerning the Seller's Lounge. I guess it's somewhat comforting to know that I'm not the only one to get tricked into their SCAM. I don't even know how I ended up on the seller's lounge website, lord knows that I wasn't actually looking for this type of system. Anyway, there advertising is very deceptive, I thought this was an official part of EBAY, as they use the EBAY logo as if the information I was looking at actually came from EBAY. Then there is the CBS, CNN, world news, etc., which makes them appear to be legitimate. What I thought I signed up for was a CD which was suppose to only cost me $1.95, and it was suppose to explain how to make lot of money on Ebay.
I received the CD in the mail and before I ever even looked at the CD I discovered a charge on my bank account for $49.95. I too got a call from a guy named Tony Anderson and Rynn Toone who lead me to believe that they too were with Ebay. I'm pretty sure that they got my information from the Seller's Lounge. They wanted to sell me a Ebay Product Knowledge and Seller's package which would teach me how to make BIG Money on Ebay, only they wanted to charge me $8995.00. When I declined and hung up on them, they called me back and said if I signed up today they would reduce the fee. I again hung up on them and decided to check them out online and thats how I ended up here. Thank GOD for this website, it's too bad that more people don't know about it. I'm currently working with my bank to recover my $49.95.
