Complaint Review: The Sellers Lounge

The Sellers Lounge Took $ 149.81 out of my bank account the same month through 3 consecutive charges with no service in return Internet

I was offered a "free" CD on "Everything you need to know to succeed on EBay"; I would only have to pay $ 3.95 for S&H and they said that I'll have 10 (ten) calendar days to cancel the suscription if I were not happy with it.

However, I never received said "free CD" and, in consequence, I was not able to log into that web page; as a result my bank account has been charged three (3) times during the same month -September 2008- as follows:

09/02/2008 $ 50.07
09/11/2008 $ 50.07
09/29/2008 $ 49.67, for a monthly total of $ 149.81.

Now, been a retiree and alien resident, these three charges to my bank account represent a hard blow to my lean personal budget.

In consesequence, I demand cancellation of my unused suscription and a complete refund of those $ 149.81 improperly charged to me.

I felt really bad about it; so I decided to call them up by phone to file a claim to get my money back and to cancel my suscription right away. They took care of me in a rather proper manner and said that the money was going to be reimbursed or refunded in about two or three days, and that my suscription was being cancelled and they gave me a cancellation number.

Next day I searched the bank's web page and opened my account, to find that effectively they processed two credits for $ 49.67 each, instead of the original charges of $ 50.07 each. However, such credits were still in red, that is, pending for confirmation. I also received two e-mails telling me in the first place that my confirmation order was cancelled, and also that the money was being refunded. If it all come true, I'll consider myself lucky and done with it.
