This request was emailed to US Senator Gillibrand in solution to what I have identifed as why the United States Government, we the people, our leaders have been unable to have the confidance that the Social Security Adm is acting lawfully, in the best intersts of Americans when completing the "Claims Decision" process.  This request demands that the United States Senate call itself to order to hear cause that the Office of Inspector General of the United States has failed to keep the US Treasury safe in regards to SSDI and Medicare Taxes paid.  Has refused to enforce the law as written in regards to "Claim Finding".   This unlawful effort has seen, this lack of oversight, then results in the inhumane of long delays, and hardship.

Is now causing to more than 300,000 Disabled Americans the idignity of financial hardship, and even total indigecy.  Does remove from that American Worker the right to be respected their hope to heal, their faith in humanity, and the confidance to enjoy their lives as much as possible. At unlawful denial, at fraudelent "Claim Finding" the Social Security Administration does then deny Medicare Benefits.  What I will continue to ask the United states Senate is the meaning of the words dignity and respect.  When as the ill, as the injured, as the aging, as  the hurting and needing of a US Citizen, worker, vested in Medicare but denied the same and then quality of medical care Medicare can provide happens?   Illness does not improve, hope sways,l ife may be eternal, but what is the quality of life due an American Worker vested in Social Security Insurance products?  Lost!

Dear United States Senator Gillibrand

I have written you of being a victim of the United States Senate failing to give oversight to waste at the social Security Administration.  Costly?  Yes.  And of all the cost, of all the waste perpetuated by a United States Senate who can not call roll into order, and law the rule the fact that more than 4000 American Workers disabled go without the basic ingredients of life.  This human rights done by the Social Security Administration remade from an insurance company into a police agency is a crime against humanity.

Cost!  What is the cost of being denied rehabilitation services?  Dignity of being able to return to work and help myself and my nation back to prosperity.

Cost!  What is the cost of being denied Medicare Benefits?  As I answer this I remind myself of my own advice to those ill.  It is much easier to die than to live.

Cost!  What of my unpaid debts that contribute to the national debt.  My inability to consume and add to the consumer index.

Cost!  What does it take from my community as friends, family or charities try to feed, clothe, and house me.

And what are these costs:

My only source of income is $200 per month or $2400 a year in Food Stamps delegated by the USDA to food purchases only.  It costs my state agency at least 20% of that amount to administer those benefits to me. In the amount of approximately $500.  Over a period of five years the USDA will have wasted $14,400 while social Security Administration without Senate oversight ran over me and my consumer and human rights.  There are approximately 311,000 people this year so hurt so the cost nationally without factoring in the cost of the USDA is about $9 billion dollars a year.  I can not approximate the cost in Food Bank withdrawals but volunteers for the US Postal Service Food Drives estimates a family of one will usually receive about $40 per month or $480 per year in groceries at a food bank.

Homeless shelters were not created to house handicapped/ill persons for the long term.  They are fit to meet short term goals.  Social Security Disability Benefits and Supplemental Security Income Benefits were developed to meet these needs.  At any rate most home less shelter only allow a homeless disabled American to spend about nine days a month sheltered.  At a cost of $85 per night, or about $10,000 a year this is depleting our charitable resources while social Security Administration plays catch the dead.

I figure it costs a community a lot of money to emotionally support a homeless disabled American.  A visit to a community mental health center for situational anxiety or depression can cost upwards from $85 a visit with medications exceeding $100 per month.  This amounts to more than $2500 a year.  How nice if I was home resting, eating well and not distressed by living in a park that is inhabited by all sorts of animals and pests.

How about the rabbi, pastor, mullah or priest of my choosing?  What is the cost of their counsel?  Is prayer really for free?

The issues of homelessness are often met by communities by criminalizing the issues.  I must cost my community at least an hour of the local police departments time with the officer maybe paid $28 per hour as he or she watches to see what I am doing.  I am far to afraid, or maybe too smart to tell them I am guilty of being stupid and believing that Social Security Administration and the United States Senate was committed to honesty, in my civil, consumer, and human rights.  As I live in the hot bed of the illegal alien problem, Nogales, Az, it must cost at least $28 for the border Patrol to follow me.  Talk about anxiety.  Thats $3000 at least a year wasted watching me be a crime victim.  And if I am jailed for loitering or trespassing for the average a homeless disabled American is most times it would cost at least $1500 for an overnight jail stay or $4500.  That would pay my rent at a HUD Section 8 Certificate for 260 months.    All for the men in Blue or the Green Suits to wake me up to tell me I have no place to sleep.  Dah!

What is the cost in my current and future health care costs once I am approved in 3-5 years for SSDI based upon factors originally submitted?  Malnutrition reduces life span increases health care costs.  Will malnutrition change hyperglycemia to full blown diabetes?  Will the heat exhaust my bodys ability to heal and strengthen?  Or the cold even further damage my hearing sight, and feeling in my extremities.  It is obvious the United States Senate doesnt care of this cost.  I am not a disposable American!

And what does Social security Administration spend to do all this.  All the paperwork to process the denial of claims, to go through the 3 appeals.  I am eligible for $900 per month in SSDI if Social Security Administration obeyed the FTC as insurance regulator.  Does the United States Senate really let the Social Security Administration spend an additional 35% processing my claim?  What pocket does that line?

And before it is over I will have frozen 5 to 7 winters. I will have suffered heat exhaustion 5-7 summers.  Been snowed on, rained on, frost bitten, and sun burned and then the Social Security Administration will tell me I paid into the SSDI fund all these years, waited 3 to 5 years but the United States Senate decided they would pass a law that they would only pay me two years of retroactive SSDI Benefits.  What is this effort?

I am not a slave laborer!

Then I will have to hire an attorney at the end of the 3-5 years of the Appeal Process to go to the final Appeal for my very life.  Of course I hope I will live to see this.  That Attorney will cost me $2000 for being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong piece of document in my hand.  Thats what Wendell Holmes called the noise the starving victims of hate crimes makes.  Gagging!

This is adding up to the greatest mistake the United States Senate has ever made.  Please read President Roosevelt remarks as he stood before the entire United States Senate to sign the social Security Act.  You the United States Senate gave away the TRUST.

Please give your immediate attention to this waste.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

YOU HAVE TO GET AN ATTORNEY BEFORE YOU CAN GET ANY SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY

Without an attorney, you don't have a hope of even getting Supplemental Security Income and with that comes Medicare, much less Social Security Disability Insurance money.

Nothing is being done about the AGE and GENDER discrimination in employment that has suddenly become a huge issue without anyone having realized it.

I don't know about you but there were NO jobs that had retirement plans or even health insurance when I was growing up here in Texas. Those always went to someone who knew someone or had a friend who did and the friend helped them.

I had to FIGHT to find a job, to keep a job, and I guess the reason I managed to stay in the work force long enough to qualify for Social Security in the first place is because I took the low paying, undesirable jobs and I worked overtime and I worked on holidays and I worked on night and I worked on call. First time I was hurt on the job, I got kicked to the curb. The owner of the company had no worker's compensation insurance and left the state to hide out. after the statute of limitations expired, she came back.

I managed to keep a job until I was 59 and now employers say I AM TOO OLD TO WORK. I AM OVERQUALIFIED.

Older workers are getting shoved out the door at younger and younger ages. How are they going to stay around on a job that is not a government job long enough to get a pension or any benefits at all.

What are they going to do with all of the older workers when employers are discouraged from hiring us due to the  alleged higher costs of healthcare and we have no children or family left to tall back on and your friends can only help you out so long because they have problems?

What ARE they going to do with us now that their policies have made us "useless eaters"?

I think I would start being afraid. VERY AFRAID. And expressing your concerns to BOTH of your Senators and your Congress person is a great place to start.

If this elected official is a neo-con liberal "Republican" or  Democrat, it is your responsibility to see that that person is voted out of office.THEY DO NOT CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOU AT ALL. THEY HAVE LOST TOUCH.

You would have thought that the Demographers would have seen this older worker crisis getting ready to happen.
