My contractor had used this company before, so when I decided to use them for a solar system I had few reservations.  I gave them my credit card information to purchase an inverter ($6,056) so we could secure the last one in stock.

I then had to wire transfer $24,622.44 to their business account so they could order my solar panels.  I did and was notified that the panels would be there in 3-5 days.  After weeks went by I called to cancel the order.  I received telephone calls and emails very unhappy that they had spent the time on this and was told I could not cancel.  I emailed the final cancellation.  I was then told that I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee on the entire order.  It was never disclosed and not written anywhere on my contractors invoices or mine.  I disagreed.

They refused the refund back to me so I called the credit card company to dispute.  I have had to hire an attorney and they have theirs.  No refund of the $24,622.44 has occurred months later, they refuse even the 80% refund and then the owner calls me to tell me if I remove the negative postings about their company that she will process my refund sooner.  Not only did they take my money, but after contacting Siliken in San Diego they didn't have an account yet, the order wasn't made and it was never ready to ship as they indicated.

This is a total scam in which I will file a lawsuit to get my money returned.  Buyer Beware from this company.  I have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Rip Off Report, Attorney General and tax authority to assure this doesn't happen to anyone else.  Thesolarbiz.info should be reviewed before doing business with them.

Good Christian Company, I think not!

After months of not receiving any monies as promised by their rebuttal to the Better Business Bureau, (which they have filed positive experiences by themselves which was removed), we finally got their attention.

The owner even writes in an email to the lawyer, "God only knows what she must think of us"!  Thank you for almost an apology.

As your attorney informed of us of his removal from the case either because you fired him or didn't want to keep paying the legal fees, one can only suspect since your agreement to settle could not be reached and you wanted all negative postings removed for my simple refund, along with my website explaining your terrible customer service.

Bank of America fought for the refund and instead of making me suffer they gave me a 100% credit and wrote off the rest even though you have prepared doctored statements to provide to the credit card company.

Thanks to your stupidity, the invoices are submitted to the companies that you purchased the goods from, in addition to my contractor and of course I still have all of your emails.

After the subpoenas were sent to your suppliers we could see that owed money for months which after you prepaid for my inverter, they applied my credit to your delinquent account.

My lawyer had extensive conversations with them, in addition your company failed to return the entire amount due on the refund.  I emailed your wife, who was the cause for all the negative communication and she still refuses to apologize for anything along with yourself.  Your daughter, the Vice President of your company was the only
Christian one amongst you who apologized, asked my to contact you and tell you it was all my idea and wanted this to end from the start.

You took it to the next level either because the funds were not available or because you just wanted to be a jerk.  So enjoy your negative comments, thank goodness for the internet keeping people like you honest in the future understanding that all sides can be displayed for the world to see.

In addition, I will wait for the lawsuit.  I am aware of my rights to speak the truth and share facts, I would love the opportunity to see you in court but of course you never hired one in California to come out here and was willing to go there!

Not everyone bows down to bullies like you and in the words of your daughter Patty,
GOD BLESS YOU!

41 Years of business with a perfect record of no complaints.

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, December 08, 2010

Until we have laws against internet defamation and cyberstalking, everyone will unfortunately suffer. In 41 years of business with a perfect record of no complaints, every once in a while I suppose you run across somebody like this. This woman has been fully reimbursed more than was owed her. Everything she claims is preposterous. Every comment of hers is libelous and completely and entirely false.

She arbitrarily demanded a return of product long after the 30 day return date. There was nothing wrong with the product. She further demanded we reimburse her for shipping both ways and informed us that if we charged a restocking fee she would sue us, which she did anyhow. The suit was dismissed.

We are at a loss as to how to even deal with a website that grants irresponsible access to this form of terrorism by allowing anyone such as this to maliciously attack unfortunate victims. This poor woman has posted 100s of libelous comments against companies and peoplenaming names of waitresses, Bed and Breakfasts. The list goes on.

The Solar Biz is a Christian company with Christian values. We promised her a refund. We have kept our word. Given the chance, we always work out any problem with our customers in a fair and equitable way. We allowed the return. The restocking fees have been waived. She still owes us $300 for product she never returned. We wrote it off.

To get a better picture of our company go to the Better Business Bureaus website (((Redacted))) She has tried to post comments on this site. To their credit, they would not allow her to post to their website. The BBB understands the severity of allowing someone such as this to use their website for libelous ranting.

If you have read this post to this point, we highly recommend you read the book Google Bomb, by John W. Dozier, Jr and Sue Scheff. Available from Amazon.com
