Complaint Review: The Sony Store

The manager of the Sony store in Victoria B.C. sold me a computer, a very expensive computer. He said that they did not have one in stock so he would mail it to me. He did this but as soon as I open the box I realized it was second hand.

I paid brand new prices and could have ordered the computer directly from Sony over the internet at the same price. I called the store and told them of the problem. Then I called Sony the company. They agreed with me that I never should have been sent a used computer but said I had to deal with the store because I brought it from him.

They did say they would call the manger and ask him what he was going to do to rectify the problem. He lied and said he had given me extented warranty because it was used and that if I had looked on the bill I would see this. Of course there is no extended warranty and I have been offered nothing.
