This organization claims you can make money in the buying and selling of privately held mortgages. During the sale of their product - a tape and book training package with telephone coaching - they get you excited about their program and then carefully gloss over their 3-business day "all sales are final" return policy. This is not 3 days from the day you receive the package, but from the day you order the package. Even if you decide not to receive the coaching, you can't get any money back. I lost $2,190.

After months of complaining to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection in both my State and in Utah, the Stefanchik Organization decided to make some resolution to this matter. Although they admit no wrongdoing, they felt that it was in their best interest to talk to me and resolve the conflict.

I agreed not to give any details about how the conflict was resolved, so I will let the reader hazard a guess. In any case, I am satisfied with the results.

I also have agreed to write to each of the organizations to which I filed complaints and state that the complaint has been resolved to my satisfaction. I have complied and am making such a statement here.

I will say that the effort of filing numerous complaints with as many agencies as possible has greatly helped to resolve this issue. I was unable to follow through with picketing because of the distance between where I live and where the Stefanchik Organization exists - the exact location is unclear even by the State of Utah. So, my suggestion to anyone in this situation is to keep up the fight. Despite several rejection letters, I persisted and the end result was favorable.

This ends any contributions to this report.

Stefanchik Organization Ignores Complaints

#6Author of original report

Wed, January 14, 2004

Since November I have filed complaints with the Utah Better Business Bureau, the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection and, recently, the State of Utah Department of Consumer Protection.

The BBB and WI DATCP have informed me that they have contacted The Stefanchik Organization about my complaint. As of today, there has been no response from The Stefanchik Organization. No one from this organization has attempted to contact me in any way. They simply don't seem to care - they have my $2,190 and are not showing any interest in negotiating a settlement on this complaint.

It would appear that this is how The Stefanchik Organization makes money and not on the Paper Business as they so claim.

I recently received notice that Stefanchik is planning a seminar January 23-25 in Las Vegas, NV. The location was not disclosed, but can be known by calling 800-903-8806, ext 8119. I wish I could show up at the seminar and warn people about the trickery this organization will use to take your money.
