Complaint Review: The Tax Helpline

I want to know if there is anyone starting a class action lawsuit against The Tax Helpline, LLC. I had the unfortunate circumstance of owing the IRS money for the first time in my life. I did not know where to turn until i heard an ad on satellite radio for the Tax helpline. The commercial advised of how they could help settle outstanding tax debts. I made the call and was greeted by an employee who started my "initial screening".

After getting my personal information, i was contacted by another individual who advised me on how they would handle my situation. I was advised of what their fees would be to handle the debt and was told they would start preparing my case when i paid them in full. I paid the Tax Helpline a total of $3,500 at which time they supposedly started the process. I subsequently started receiving letters from the IRS asking for payment.

I was assured that it was being handled. Long story short, i started making calls to check on the progress and got no return calls. I called everday, multiple times a day, for a few months before finally getting nothing but a busy signal. I decided to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was advised by the BBB, that they could not make contact with anyone from the company and that there was nothing more they could do.

If there is anyone who is starting a class action lawsuit against The Tax Helpline LLC or the owners of said company, i would like to be included. I worked hard for my money. It has been a humiliating experience being scammed by eople who prey on individuals already having finacial problems. 

I have since had to hire another tax resolution company that i verified through the BBB. I have had to pay another $4,200 to continue to deal with IRS. Someone, please help. Thank you.
