Complaint Review: the tribe wellness community

This is my personal opinion, so make of it what you will:

I've used mental health services of various sorts for decades;  psychiatrists; psychiatric nurses; psychiatric social workers; a psychologist; private doctors and hospital, the state hospital, and the city's poor people's clinic.

I've had good therapists and bad.  I've been impressed by psychiatrists and I've been taken aback by others.  I have been treated with respect, and I have been patronized. It is my opinion that consumers of mental health services need to be savvy.  I believe that only by comparing notes with one another, and sharing of past experiences, can they achieve the best outcomes.  I beleive there is as much bad as good in the field of mental health.

Well, when I became a member of this online tribe, I soon felt disappointed.  I had hoped to find intense discussion, criticism, information, etc.  What I seemed mostly to find were new people posting that they had joined.  I also noticed a way for people to find therapists.  I noticed little blurbs about therapists over to the side of the screen.

I wish it were more of, and by, consumers of mental health services!
