The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Fair Housing and Equal opportunity (FHEO) received my complaint and will be routed to the appropriate regional office for processing. I haven't heard from them. I have been calling them several times no return phone calls. On August 17th 2018 I emailed the Web manager. They received my message August 21st, 2018 and stated my message is received my comments have been forwarded to the appropriate program area director and I should hear from them shortly and no response yet it`s be almost 5 months since I filed my complaint and according to the complaint process they are far beyond the time limit of the process procedures. I think (HUD) and (FHEO) are ignoring my discrimination complaint because they have exceeded the time limit according to the process procedures. My issue is that I live in a four-plex with washer and dryer hook-up. I was the first second person living in this place. The person that was here before me had been evicted and was moving out. They were using the laundry room as storage. Once they moved out they lifted their belongings in the laundry room for about a month or two. The landlord owner John C. Williams had a person move all the stuff out of the laundry room. I ask the maintenance person Jose when he were going to fix up the laundry room for me to use. He told me there was no electricity hook up in there among other problems with other hook ups for the washer and dryer. I ask John did he want to buy my washer and dryer because I didn`t have room inside my house to store my washer and dryer. And I ended up selling my washer and dryer. My landlord John C. Williams would not authorizes the maintenance. man (Jose) to fix the laundry room for me to use. Once the two Spanish families moved in the Spanish maintenance. man (Jose) fixed the two laundry rooms for the Spanish families to use. As of this day the owner refuses to hook up additional hook ups for all four tenants to have access to wash their cloths. Only two tenants can wash their cloths. As of this day we still do not have access or key to use the laundry facilities. I`m black and disable and I am feeling really disgusted, hurt, mad that I'm being discriminated against. I ended up selling my washer and dryer because they wouldn't allow me to store my washer and dryer in the laundry room.
