On January 5 2006 at 6:42 pm I shipped from the UPS Store #2881 on 11110 W Oakland Park Sunrise FL 33351 two packages from Florida to California
I paid extra to have the employee by the name Simon pack
it professionaly With all the proper supply the shop carries.
I watched the employee doing his job but he was short of what they call peanuts, to his words he said that he will complete the packing the next day and ship it.
I paid for the packeging, plus insurance and the shipping total was $260.76 trusting the store.
A Few days later one of the packages arrived. the other couldn't be found. Eventually the other package arrived, packed differently, and with broken and missing parts.
We filed a complaint with the store, UPS sent an inspector to the receivers house in California. So far, after many phone calls and visiting the UPS store we still can not get any satisfying answer or compensation for our loss.We had to import new parts, pay for new shipment from Europe, pay again for the shipment to California. The Employee who answers our calls says: I will give the message to the owner. Nothing happends. We paid a lot of money for the extra packaging, shipping, repitedly.
