The Variety Shop / GottaHaveItNow.com This company or companies from a single source (http://thevarietyshop.co/ and gottahavethisnow.com) are incredibly good in branding and being viral on social media. Their websites are equally convincing with limited quantities and listing the few remaining... Internet based.
On November 15th I clicked on a product available through a Facebook ad from The Variety Shop for two clocks made from old records. Once I ordered the two clocks, I received an email from The Variety Shop saying my purchase was confirmed from Gotta Have This Now!! Which strangely has a website: gottahavethisnow.com which has the same business profile as The Variety Shop, same weird lack of ability to reach out to anyone to contact them. It's now into December and packages I ordered long after this one have come in or I have tracking numbers to track their progress.
I revisited my email which has no tracking number - just a confirmation email with my billing and shipping address. I went to The Variety Shop webpage to track my order and it doesn't find my order despite using the same email the emailed the confirmation to. I wrote their FB page, replied to their confirmation email... nothing indicates there is any intention for either of these businesses to follow through on the $119.85 I paid for a Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger record wall clock and a sugar-skull record wall clock.
