Complaint Review: The Water Club

I was a vendor providing services to a high profile corporate client at the Water Club in Manhattan. The valet said we were not allowed to park in their own lot anymore and that if we wanted to they had to charge us $10.00. I relented and gave him the $10.00 - mind you this is their OWN parking lot and not a lot that their customers have to pay for.

Upon picking up the car at the end of the party, the valet argued told me that I had not already paid the $10.00 and argued with me for over 10 minutes until I gave him another $10.00.

The catering manager was very rude also, hanging up the phone on me twice when I tried to explain the situation to her - very unprofessional. If you are a vendor providing any sort of service for a private event here, I recommend staying away from here or charging a surcharge on this place. They make you go half around the building through the back entrance and up steps through the kitchen with mopped floors and such. Not good if you have heavy equipment and very hazardous.
