Hello I am in recovery and at one time had 14 years clean from all drugs and etoh. I had been under a lot of stress and went out. I used for 2 weeks but knew I did not want to return to my old life and decided I would go back to treatment where I did in 2002 and worked for as well.  I called the Watershed and went to the Boca Campus because I had heard of many problems at the new main campus in Boynton Beach Fl and the young people who went there. left and came back on property with drugs ect.  I finsihed my detox after 8 days and recieved a Tx plan as required for insurance reasons. They wanted me to stay and go over to PHP/ IOP where they have many problems with young people who may have came to treatment for various other reasons other than to get clean. I keep asking for my discharge date which no one could seem to come up with. I met with the director there Jennifier and my primary theripist and still no discharge date.

They told me to relax.  I had only been there 11 days and after the 12th day decided to leave on my own ( AWOL)  They refused to give me back my property which included my cell phone CC's Keys to my condo and vehical. THey told me that when I was admitted I had signed an agreement to allow the Watershed to keep my property for 24 hours. ( deterent to leaving treatment ) and insurance to the Watershed billing my insurance company..  I am sooooo Glad I am local. I feel sooooo bad for the clients or patients that they flew in from other states that basically are being held against there own will. Today I went there and got all my property back except my keys ( which I had copies to) and my medication ( not controlled substances)  prostate meds   Im and older man.  I plan on filing a complaint with the department of profesional regulations ( FL ) as well as calling Florida Blue ( my insurance company)   If you go there BEWARE !!!!    If you have good or even decent insurance they will keep you for 90 days or as long as your plan allows.
