If you call they say their name is either Mark or Josh. Also bogus names. They prefer to use the internet. I did however call. They requested the price of the puppy to be paid by western union. Then they had a bogus shipping company and wanted a ridiculous fee for insurance. More than the price of the puppy. I have reported them to this web site. My bank to no avail, to western union, the state police and the FBI. Which is a must if you get ripped off. Please stay away from americanstarpuppies.com. Boston, Massachusetts Internet
I went on line to by a chihuahua puppy. I called the phone number on the web site. The bogus puppy web site is americanstarpuppies@gmail.com or americanstarpuppies.com. I paid for a puppy in full per their instructions through western union. They said the puppy then went to the shipper and the shipper was waiting for me to pay a ridiculous fee for for insurance. That is when I realized it was a scam. I had a friend call and inquire about the same puppy I had purchased. She was told it was still for sale. I contacted them for a refund. They gave me the run a round, until I mentioned the FBI. I lost contact with them. They refused my phone calls and emails. Thank you.
