Complaint Review: Theater Research

Theater Research ripoff consumer fraud ripoff, I was sold a $3000.00 set of speakers out of a van in a parking lot for $250.00 from a company that doesnt exist!! Not Known Colorado .....

I was approached by two men in a mini van in a mall parking lot saying they needed money to get back to colorado.They offered me a $3000.00 set of home theatre speakers for $1000.00. I finally agreed on a price of $250.00.

I should have trusted my instincts when they didnt want to take a check, but instead wanted to go to my bank and get cash.I paid them only to research the company and couldnt find anything on it except this site with several other stories that resemble mine.

I did pay them but just for safety's sake I took down the license plate of the van! I hope I am contacted by someone who knows what to do with it!
