Complete Ripoff!  Strategies used are over 200 years old and proved not to work.  No phone number given, no proof of system used for own self.  Refund policy impossible to adhere to.  Mistakes in the manual written.  80% of manual are rules of the game and other nonsense.  Actual strategy, if you want to call it that is only several pages and that includes the blank score sheets.  System not clearly written. Misinterpreations can be made.  Their acknowledged most of what I had written in an email.  Stay away from this company.  They did not offer refund after losing money following this system.

Not to say that my situation is worse than yours, yet i lost $500 to a refinance mortgage scam with Quicken Loans. Most companies have forgotten what it means to provide a service, they only see our BUCKS, and in my case they took a "deposit" and provided no service. We are assaulted by a system where most businesses are out of control. They see us as an expense and have no compassion for how what they do is ruining our lives.

Complete Ripoff!

Just want to give everyone an update.  This company, TheBaccaratExperts.com stated in their reply that they are still working with me in giving me a refund.  This is completely false!  They have stopped responding to my emails.  I just sent two since my initial claim here.  Also funny how they stated they offered me coaching services.  They never mentioned those words in their communication with me.  It is hard to "coach" when they dont provide a phone number to their paid customers.

Their errors in their manual still have not been fixed which were pointed out by me.  It is a stretch to call it a manual.  Believe me the $449 I spent on their system was the worst purchase I ever made.  This is the first time I ever reported a company on this website.  I have bought many things over the years but this is by far the worst purchase I ever made.

One last note,  when you google TheBaccaratExperts.com, you will notice that my complaint on RipoffReport.com is falling further and further down so it does not show up on page 1. This scam of a company is filling up the searches with "testomials" on how great the sytems are so my report gets pushed down to page 2 or lower.  I also filed a complaint at another website, complaints.com which still shows up on page 1 if you google this scam of a company.  Be careful people!

Rebuttal of company response

#5Author of original report

They stated they respond to emails withing 24 hrs.  After writing several emails which they responded to, my last email was demanding my money back or else I will report them so other people will not get scammed.  They did not respond to my last email at all and I waited for 3 days when I filled out this initial report.

The system I ordered was 29 pages long called the numbers system.  If you take away the rules of the game and also the list of fallacies that gamblers fall into, the system is only 2 pages long double spaced.  What I forgot to mention originally was there were typographical errors which were serious because the errors were going against the original rules they proposed.   I was so surprised to find them.  I caught them in the first read of the sytem which took only 15 minutes since it is really only a couple of pages long.  After reporting these errors they said they will fix it and I asked them to send me the updated pdf file and they never did.

I have been playing baccarat for about 5 years and when I read the rules, poorly written, not clear at all but followed what they wrote and went to use it and lost 8 straight shoes.  I hit the stop loss of -8 in each of the shoes.  Their first response was that they are looking to find the cheapest help to update the manual in fixing the errors I found.  WHAT A JOKE!  All they had to do was go to their original file and fix it.  What is this nonsense about waiting to hire people.  Also if this system was so popular, anyone should have noticed these errors and yet they were never fixed.

They also responded by saying that I should practice with at least 30 shoes before playing for real money.  Again this advice may be ok for someone who has never played baccarat before and hence their 80% of the manual are the instructions in how to play.  I am a seasoned player.

I wont post the system because that would be unfair to the baccaratexperts but my opinion is if ANYONE spends the $450 on it, they would be greatly disappointed.  I did not keep the score sheets when I lost the $1000 and here they are stating they have offered me the refund.  THEY HAVENT.  If they do  I will be more than Happy to respond here and state they have  backed up their word.

I have never asked for a refund when buying a system.  I understand the risks involved. I have bought systems in baccarat, blackjack, etc over the years from different people and companies.  Some good and many many bad but I picked up some ideas here and there.  This is the first time that I was so disgusted with the purchase that I had to ask for a refund.  I will keep everyone up to date.

Factual errors -- we are still willing to work with you towards a resolution

#5UPDATE Employee

Tue, July 20, 2010

We have a policy of not making any information surrounding our clients public, however, since you have made your case public and we receive so few complaints, I am aware of your case and will be happy to fill in the gaps in your story.

Just to provide some back story:  This particular client not only did not follow our suggestions, but only tried our system once, and against recommendations.  We offered to work with them towards a resolution -- either coaching, or refund -- and instead, they threatened us with an internet disgracing.

And to the client:  We are still willing to give you a refund.  Just contact us via email and we can pick up right where we left off.  Or, if you'd prefer, we are still willing to give you coaching to understand.  It is up to you.

> Strategies used are over 200 years old and proved not to work.

You have managed to hone in on the one tiny part of our oldest system that is old news, and well known.  I would hesitate in even calling it part of our system because it is more of a suggestion to be used in conjunction with our core tenets.  To say our entire system is about this one item is like saying Moby d**k is about whales.

> No phone number given, no proof of system used for own self.

As we mentioned to you via email, it would be impossible for us to have customer phone support.  This is a huge undertaking that we just don't have the resources for.  Was there ever a time when our email responses were not timely and provided complete answers to your questions?  We typically respond within 24 hours of receiving a customer email (weekday, weekend and holidays!).

> Refund policy impossible to adhere to.

Our refund policy was created to protect us from scammers.  Period.

Specifically, people who would buy the system and demand a refund so they don't have to pay (sometimes gamblers can be uncouth... surprising, we know).  As we mentioned to you time and time again, we were willing not just to bend our refund policy, but break it in your case in order to give you satisfaction.

> 80% of manual are rules of the game and other nonsense.

This is a little bit of an overstatement, don't you think?  First of all, yes, we do include a "beginners guide to baccarat" along with our systems.  We thought it important to educate people who know less than you about baccarat.  If you found these pages annoying, you could of always skip ahead.

> System not clearly written. Misinterpreations can be made.  Their acknowledged most of what I had written in an email.

First of all, as we state in multiple locations, we are here if you do not understand anything.  We provide our clients with all the support they need to understand our (sometimes complex, this is true) concepts.

Yes, our system can sometimes be difficult to understand.  If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.  It will still require a tiny little bit of thinking and understanding on your part.  And as mentioned before, we are here to answer any questions.

Think of this as a classroom, don't be shy to raise your hand.

> They did not offer refund after losing money following this system.

This is just plain flat out false.  Not only did we offer the client a refund, we offered to break a strict company policy to do so.

Here is a summary of the timeline of events in regard to this client's experience:

1. Client made purchase.
2. Client did not adhere to our suggestions, was confused, and decided to give it a shot anyway.
3. Client used our system ONCE and lost after not following our suggestions or contacting us.
4. Client contacts us demanding a refund.
5. We explain that the system was not followed, and that we were sorry the system was hard to understand and offer to work with the client towards a resolution (refund included).
6. ...?  Again, I'm not sure why this was his next step.  As I mentioned before, we were in the process of working with the client towards a resolution.
