Thecalmbear.com Thecalmbear.com, Thecalmbear, Glancity.com, Sporal.co, The calm bear, thewishbox.us, Amerya.com, Dycleansale.com Thecalmbear.com is a fraudulent website. Dyson scam. They stole over $2000 from us. Philadelphia PA
Thecalmbear.com is one of many fraudulent websites based out of China. They use random US addresses and false contact information to defraud buyers. They send you nothing or send cheap Chinese knockoffs. They sent us completely fake Dyson products - two fake dryers and two fake Dyson air wraps.
They took 6 weeks to come and came from China and were complete trash. Not even close to the real thing. They refused to refund us and their return address turned out to be a fake too (in China) and the cost is over $200 just to mail back this junk. We had to get our credit card and the police involved. There is no sign of anyone even remotely connected to them at their fake address.
They have many similar fraud sites too like Sporal.co, Glancity.com, Amerya.com, and many similar fraudulent websites stealing everyone’s money. The second part of the scam is the PayPal fake tracking scam (look this up because it’s been done the last few years with many of these scam sites) where they input tracking from another package that shows delivery somewhere near you and so they close any dispute.
They also use this to close disputes you file with your card or bank. It can take months to finally get a refund out of this and many times PayPal will refuse the refund. For friends of ours it took 3 months for PayPal to finally admit the seller stole the money but they could not refund anything because of course by then they took all the money out and are using a new PayPal account to commit more fraud.
Even more dangerous is they steal your identity and passwords using malware and key logging software plus the info you input on their site, then use your identity to commit fraud on others and may steal your money from your bank account and cards too. You may end up having victims of fraud coming after you as an end result.
You need to cancel any card used on their fraudulent sites and call the police to alert them of this illegal activity to protect yourself not only from financial loss but from personal liability from identity theft and impersonation crimes they may try to commit (they’ve done this to many people so far).
