Complaint Review: Thedigitalnerds.com Aka The Camera Wiz

I orderd a Sony Cybershot and was told to call for confirmation. I have since learned that this is their standard set up to upsell. I was told that the battery that came with the unit was inferior and would not last more than 15 minutes of use. For extended use up to 10 hours the battery was 99. I bit. When the package arrived I realized the battery was no different than the one provided by Sony. I checked the interent and this battery sells for $35-40, not the $99 I was charged. I called and said they must have made a mistake, as the battery i received was not the extended battery Scott sold me and no different than the battery that he claimed was inferior. He said that he would not accpet the return and would not credit me for the $99 and referred to his restocking policy. When I reminded him that the product was not what he portrayed it to be and I meerly wanted to return the mistake, he said he will get the money in 30 days from the bank and have a nice day. I was flabergasted but now realize this is the business they are in. I uess this confirm Buyer Beware and the internet is not regulated.
